GUESS what I found!!!!! Forget that, it'll take too long, I can't wait. :) Okay, here's the story:

My mom's been pestering me forever to go to the Harry Potter movie with her. Since I needed a break from inking and drawing and I didn't work today, I said sure, let's go. So we go and watch and then as we're walking though the parking lot, we walk past this car, some kind of two-door sports car. It was dark-colored, with two light-colored stripes vertical up the hood and a light colored front grill. I thought it might be a Dodge Viper, so I went over to have a look at it.

What an odd little car! It was matte black, totally not shiny, and the light stripes were funny air-intakes on the hood, painted yellow, as was the grill. I took off my mitt and touched it. Not auto paint, black primer. Interesting.

I walked towards the rear (my mom's a long way off by now), looking for any other identifying marks. Oh. This is weird, really weird. There are no identifying marks! Hmmm, I think, hot car? Totally smothered in black primer with only the air-intakes and grill painted yellow? How strange! Eh, it has Alberta plates tho... Circled around again to look at the front. Noticed something fascinating about the shape and positioning of the headlights. Heart racing, I go to look at the doors again.

I'm staring at the doors. See, in a normal car, the doors have seams on either side where they open. This baby had a seam on both sides but also one at the bottom. Which makes no sense at all, unless... I stand on tippy-toes and peek over the roof of the car. The seams run all the way up, over the roof and meet in the middle! I squeal like a 12-year-old at an 'NSYNC concert!

"HOLY SHIT!!" I yell, "Mom, mom! Come look at this!! C'mon, come back here and look at this!!" The funny little black primer beast with the yellow grill is a DeLorean! A rather delapidated, badly painted 1983 DeLorean!!! I found my car! I finally got to see one!! :D My car! My car!!! I'm so happy! (And can only wonder what the owners thought if they saw me racing around their car, peeking inside, tapping things and peering underneath looking for insignia.) My car!! (The movie wasn't any better the second time around.) But my car- ! :D

So this is what it comes down to? This is where it ALL ends? Trading in her tail for... what the hell is that, anyway? I think I can forego watching Andromeda ever again without guilt. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping the super-cool KHC is wise enough to jump ship before things get really bad.

Well crap. Due to stupid WORK, I missed Raptor's staff Xmas party tonight. :( And I really wanted to go too. Bugger.

So Noema and Raptor kept bugging me to take this 'What Cat Are You Quiz?'. Of course, by the time I got around to it, the webmaster had taken it down. Well, poof. Anyway, I took the 'What Fruit Are You?' quiz instead...

Strawberry: 50/100 Pear: 0/100 Banana: 30/100 Tomato: 35/100 Lemon: 0/100

Take the What Fruit Are You? test by webkin and aaronr!

So now we know. :)

Has anyone seen my L33T gaming skillz lying around somewhere? Anyone? C'mon, fess up, I need 'em back! Ah... okay, I'm kidding, they weren't that L33T to begin with, but there used to be a day when I could DeathMatch people in Doom II and take 'em down with my chainsaw. Really! Okay, it happened once. Feh! It all boils down to me playing the Harry Potter game (which MF has renamed 'Harry Plodder' because of how badly our beast of a computer lags when I'm playing). It's pretty fun! I suck at flying (only crashed about six...teen times and flew into a wall, ow) but I rule at spells. Bwahaha! Beware kitty with a wand! Mwahahaha!!!

Oh and if you're looking for entertainment, go read the latest entry in my guestbook. Hee hee!

Okay people, this is never to happen again. Two momentous announcements should never be made on the same day. :) Actually, watching me overload emotionally is probably pretty entertaining.

Announcment 1: My best friend, Cel the Celestial Queen, whom I have known for more than half my life, is moving away to Ontario in two days. This was sudden. I am still in shock.

Announcment 2: Raptor asked me out. Once again, I'm in shock. And I'm not single anymore...! Holy crap!

Off to find some Ritalin...

Got my pictures from the Pyronomicon Photo Shoot back. Man, my camera sucks. :P The pictures themselves aren't too shabby, 'specially Raptor's pics of the Santa Maria, but the quality bites. This could be attributed to the Wal-Mart 1-hour photo processing, the Superstore film that expired sometime in June or the $60 camera which took the pictures. Hmmm. Anyway, they're usable AND my Halloween pics are on the same roll. Hee hee.

Silly Stormi! People can't read your mind! You have to actually TELL them how much you care about them. *rolls eyes at own oversight* For the love of all that's holy, COMMUNICATION! And it took me HOW LONG to figure this out...?

Oh yeah, and if you're one of those absent-minded types who takes food with them into their room, don't take milk products there and if you do, don't forget about them for a long time and if you do, don't spill them. *grimace*

Done! Done done done! Schoooool's ooouuut for winter! *does a half-assed jig around her chair* Whew. :)

Went out to West Ed for the Pyronomicon Photo Shoot today. Twas highly enjoyable! Raptor took pictures for me and he, Joani and I all ate at this cool sushi restaraunt on Bourbon Street that has a revolving conveyor belt type thing which carries food right past you. I think that's about the most effective way of emptying customers pockets as any. "I'll have this one- and oh! I like those... and one of those, and hey, let's try that one- and that looks good and- oh god! Whattaya mean $43 for one meal?!" Raptor had to leave early but Joani and I wandered deeper into the Mall, where we discovered a SWEET jet-black 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS, with red leather interior and standard transmission, being raffled off by the Canadian Parapelegic Association. Joani had to hold me back since I was drooling on it. What an AWESOME car!! I bought six tickets- 4 for me and two for my undeserving younger brother (yeah, I'm still bitter 'bout that month-without-Internet thing).

When I got home, I switched on the radio to discover the Bear playing 'Run to the Hills'! They NEVER play Maiden!! Whoo hoo! And another surprise awaited me downstairs. I went to see if I could possibly pry MF off the computer so I could scan stuff and lo and behold, he's downloading the Harry Potter computer game. Hello, who are you and what have you down with MindFire??! I gave him his ticket stubs from the Ferrari raffle in exchange for brother-free computer use and made him promise me he'd let me do the Quidditch part of the game when he got that far. Flying broomsticks! Whoo! :D

Would ya look at that? I'm almost done my Christmas shopping- already!! Unbe-freakin'-leiveable! I'm usually one of those sad saps who's running around West Ed on Dec 23 (in body armor and wielding a blunt object), trying to find something for somebody. But whoa- thanks to the great and glorious Internet, I'm nearly done! Whoo hoo! Which leaves me free to buy stuff I don't need for myself.

In other happy news, my psych prof has allowed me to take the final exam I missed tomorrow at 11:00. Again- WHOO HOO!! Ahhh. Looks like the Powers That Be don't hate me so much after all.

Uh oh... I'm starting to desire super-baggy pants, garish plastic jewellry and lotsa candy. And I'm starting to think raver guys are rather attractive. (I already thought raver girls were cute, but I find girls in general more attractive than men, they're nice and curvy.) Yesterday I was refueling my internet addiction (oh sweet DSL!) and ended upon this raver page by accident- or maybe it was curiosity- but anyway, the webmaster was a polite, thoughtful fellow who was happy to answer questions. So I asked him what 'PLUR' meant since it seems like ravers everywhere say it and I was totally stumped. It's really an acronym for Peace Love Unity Respect. I think I could start to like these raver folk. :) Plus they have really cool pants.
